What the service does
These terms describe what Ryzox does, what it does not do, and what is expected of you. They are short because the service is.
Ryzox shows a gym’s class schedule and lets you book a place. That is all, and it is deliberate.
Ryzox takes NO payment. No memberships, no drop-in fees, no deposits. Your gym bills you by its own means, outside the app, and having an account is no proof that you are paid up.
Your account
Signing up is open to anyone. You must verify your email address before you can book: it is the only entry check, and it exists so that a class attendee list matches people who can be reached.
One account per person, and your details must be accurate: your gym uses them to recognise you at the desk.
Joining a gym is separate from signing up. You can attend several gyms with the same account.
Booking and cancelling
The rules below are enforced by the software, not merely written here.
- Booking window
- A place can be booked within a window set by the gym, usually from seven days before the class until it starts.
- No two places at once
- You cannot hold two places on classes that overlap.
- Cancellation deadline
- You can cancel freely until the deadline set by the gym, one hour before the class by default. After that, you must contact the gym: only it can remove your booking.
- Absence
- Not turning up without cancelling may be recorded by the gym. No automatic blocking follows from it.
What your gym can do
Your gym’s manager can cancel a class, remove you from an attendee list, record an absence, and suspend your access to THAT gym. A suspension does not close your account and does not stop you attending another gym.
A cancelled class stays visible, struck through, and the places are released. There is no automatic notification: your gym tells you by its own means.
Closing your account
You can ask for your account to be anonymised at any time from your account page, without writing to us and without giving a reason. It is immediate and permanent.
Availability
We run the service as well as we can, without guaranteeing it never stops. An outage gives you no right to compensation, as the app is free to you.
Changes
These terms may change. The update date is at the top of the page, and a change to the privacy policy will be put to you again where it touches what you agreed to.
